Small Seller Stories: Learning from Experiences on Capitol Hill
On January 21, 2022, Amazon sellers convened to discuss harmful legislation being considered by Congress that could impact their business and the importance of sellers engaging with legislators on this issue to make their voice heard. The discussion was moderated by Rob Retzlaff, Executive Director of the Connected Commerce Council.
Business owners Toyin Kolawole, Kristin Rae, and Dr. Sheg Aranmolate shared their experience meeting with legislators, the concerns they raised, and what they learned from those conversations. Toyin, Kristin and Sheg also discussed why it is important that more small sellers communicate with legislators about the proposed legislation.
